Take that city kid out and teach em’ how to fish!

Starting this Friday you can join the Anacostia Riverkeeper, an advocacy nonprofit,  in free catch and release fishing. Beginners and children are especially welcome as instruction and gear will be provided.  The event happens only a short walk from the The Yards Park.

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of getting a two hour guided tour of the Anacosita River, blog post about that soon. You can also get a free tour of the river and free fishing lessons all provided by the same organization!

When

Friday nights 5:30-8:30pm

June 19th- August 25th (no programming July 7th)

Where

Diamond Teague Park (99 Potomac Ave SE)
