The newly renovated children’s garden at the United States Botanical Garden is now open to the public. Features like the misters and watering can station remain while new areas like shoveling and composting are new.
Notably a playhouse has been added and it showcases a variety of fibers, seeds and soil. It includes a child sized picnic area and interactive activities like a rain wheel and a narrow bridge to climb across.
The garden has always been a destination for me as it provides an area for children to dig, water and run around. The children’s garden is located within the United States Botanical Garden and is accessible during normal hours of operation.
Take a video tour!
